What is Snore-Ex? How does it help? Snore-Ex Stop Snoring Mouthpiece Sleep Aid was created by Tri Point Labs™ to help eliminate snoring and improve your sleep. Snore-Ex helps relieve pressure from the palettes make it easier to breathe and help eliminate snoring. What causes us to snore? Snoring is usually caused by a partial obstruction of the upper airway behind the tongue. When we’re awake, our breathing is unobstructed as our body consciously keeps our upper airway open. But when we’re asleep, the muscles around our airway relax, and the airway often becomes narrower. For most people who snore, air rushing through the narrowed opening causes the soft tissue in this part of the upper airway to vibrate, making the sound of what we call ‘snoring’. Is it easy to mold the mouthpiece? Is it comfortable to sleep with? The Snore-Ex mouthpiece is molded right at home and only takes a few minutes to prep. Simple step-by-step instructions are provided to ensure that each mouthpiece is molded correctly for a comfortable and lasting fit. During the initial molding process, the whole idea is to get an imprint of your teeth onto the soft inner core. The mouthpiece soft inner core will slowly harden as it reaches room temperature and is ready to use. If the first molding process was done incorrectly or if the mouthpiece does not fit right, then please look over the instructions thoroughly and attempt to remold it again. The mouthpiece can only be remolded 2-3 additional times. Are you authorized to sell Snore-Ex products by Tri Point Labs™? This differs from person to person; it depends on the pressure placed on the device while in use. Some people tend to clench or grind their teeth more than others causing more wear on the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece will lose its shape through time and will be less effective. It is vital to inspect the mouthpiece regularly every few days to ensure that the device is replaced before any pieces break off due to excessive wear. Typically the mouthpiece lasts approximately 6-10 months. It is also more hygienic to replace the mouthpiece regularly.
